About the Author
Bára Dvořáková graduated in Molecular Biology in Olomouc and Immunology in Prague, spent 14 years working in scientific laboratories, published scientific papers in foreign journals, saw a bit of the world while travelling to scientific conferences, earned a degree or two… and although she doesn’t work in the laboratory anymore, her love for science has remained and she wants to pass it on through the popularization blogletter and the newly prepared book “Dítě pod Lupou” (Child under the magnifying glass). Occasionally she gives lectures at Charles University, sometimes she helds various workshops or seminars about immunity and health, from time to time she does popularization research and scientific proofreading. She also enjoys painting illustrations, writing fairy tales and creative procrastination.
